New Hanover County to list surplus property online

NEW HANOVER COUNTY – July 22, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — New Hanover County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution at their regularly scheduled meeting held on Monday, July 20, 2015, declaring certain personal property surplus and authorization for the property to be sold by electronic public auction. The County will be using GovDeals, an on-line auction service provider, for the disposal of this property.

From August 1, – August 15, 2015, various surplus vehicles (trucks, vans, and automobiles), office and computer equipment, office furniture and miscellaneous items will be sold.

Registration is required for bidding. All items are sold “as is,” and the acceptable methods of payment are cash, money order, cashier’s check and credit card. Please review the terms and conditions before bidding.
