Firehouse Subs, founded in Jacksonville, Fla., by former firefighting brothers Robin and Chris Sorensen, is a fast-casual sandwich chain famous for hot subs in a unique atmosphere. The new 2,121-square-foot location will open in the Food Court at Concord Mills this summer and serve large portions of premium meats and cheeses, “steamed” hot and placed atop fresh produce on a toasted sub roll. The restaurant offers a family-oriented dining experience, complete with an authentic firefighter theme that celebrates local firefighting history, as well as the founding family’s 200 years of firefighting service.
Jasmine Smoothie World & Bubble Tea will open its 716-square-foot home at Concord Mills this summer in Neighborhood 7 near the AMC Theatres. Cool, creamy and refreshing bubble tea is made with fresh fruit, non-dairy milk, crushed ice and tea with delicious tapioca pearls sitting on the bottom of the drink. The store will also offer more than 20 selections of nutritional smoothies custom-blended with real fruit, pure juices and healthy supplements such as proteins, vitamins and energy powder.
