RE/MAX Preferred Associates Thinks Globally, Acts Locally
Raleigh, NC – November 2, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Mergers, restructuring, and streamlining. That was only the beginning for RE/MAX Preferred Associates in 2011. The three office real estate brokerage powerhouse now flexes its muscle with the addition of international talent Luis Rodriguez as Director of Agent Services.
Rodriguez brings over 20 years of RE/MAX experience to Preferred Associates. After helping launch the first RE/MAX Region outside of North America (RE/MAX Caribbean and Central America), he gained valuable insight into the U.S. real estate industry working in RE/MAX Florida and RE/MAX Carolinas. Luis then earned the post of Vice President and Regional Director for RE/MAX Caribbean Islands, Central America, and South America. He also served as Regional Director for RE/MAX Mexico during 2001.
“Luis was my RE/MAX lifeline when I first got my franchise and we’ve stayed in touch as I watched his career develop over the years,” says Grayson Hodge, President and Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Preferred Associates. “It’s great to have him back in the States,” he adds. “Now he can be a resource and lifeline to all of our associates because he is the most knowledgeable person that I know about the enormous toolkit that comes with being a RE/MAX associate. He certainly will be our “go to” guy for all things RE/MAX!”
In 2003, Rodriguez moved to Chile with his family and co-founded RE/MAX Chile along with partners Kim Lund and James Bovell.
He has worked as Regional Director to transform Chile’s real estate industry ever since that time.
“RE/MAX Preferred Associates will not only benefit from Luis’ international perspective and connections, but also from his experience training and supporting our team,” stressed James Bovell, Co-Broker/Owner and partner to Grayson Hodge. He further explains, “Raleigh is gaining international attention and we’ll be better positioned to capitalize on that while leveraging the many tools that RE/MAX already brings to the table locally.”
“It’s exciting to work alongside professionals I’ve known and respected for years to build something truly worthwhile, “says Rodriguez. “I look forward to helping our agents build their businesses wherever they may be,” he stresses.
Born in Madrid, Rodriguez was raised in the Caribbean and has lived most of his life in the U.S.
